Dr. rebecca goad
Rebecca Goad, O.D. is a native of Clarksville, Tennessee. She graduated from Auburn University before pursuing a career in eye care.
She completed her Doctorate of Optometry in Memphis, TN at the Southern College of Optometry. Following graduation, she completed a residency in Ocular Disease and Refractive Surgery at Woolfson Eye Institute in Atlanta where she was able to expand her knowledge of ocular diseases and management of ocular surgeries, including LASIK, PRK, and cataract surgery.
When not working, you can find Dr. Goad in the kitchen trying a new recipe, playing with her springer spaniel, Winston, or cheering on the Auburn Tigers on a fall Saturday. Dr. Goad and her husband, Johnny, live in Carrollton with their daughter, Barrett.

Dr. Krista Stapleton
Krista Stapleton, O.D. received a Bachelor's degree from the University of Georgia. In 2007, she was awarded Doctor of Optometry by the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. Her passion is ocular disease with emphasis on diabetic complications, dry eye, and glaucoma.
Dr. Stapleton grew up on a row crop and cattle farm in Coffee County, GA. She and her family have lived in the West Georgia area for fifteen years. Dr. Stapleton's husband, Stephen is a buyer for Airbus. While not at work, they both enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, and cheering on UGA in the fall. They have two boys, Drew and Luke.
Jennifer Carter, O.D. is a specialist in contact lenses and has experience in every available type of lens, including multifocal lenses and scleral lens design for complex cases. She also has co-managed all types of surgical cases.
Dr. Carter received her Doctor of Optometry from the University of Missouri-St. Louis in 2002. She received her bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry from Shorter College in Rome, GA.
Dr. Carter’s husband, Josh, is a U.S. History teacher and was a basketball coach at Bremen High School for 20 years. He now owns Arsenal Performance, an athletic training center for youth. They have three children, Jamison, Jackson, and Jillian (aka Bean).
